We arrived in Hoi An at lunch so we had one of its signature dishes, also one of my favs — cao lau — at Thanh Cao Lau restaurant on 26 Thai Phien street. It was super tasty!!! If you have a chance to Hoi An, do come by and give it a try! And, indeed, I eat really spicy teehee.
It’s easy to find souvenir shops around Hoi An’s walking area. This place is absolutely touristy!
You can find a lot of culturistic restaurants and coffee shops too!
And the traditional xich lo bike to ride around town!
At night you will see a lot of people ranging from very young to very old selling these lanterns on the riverside. Purchase one to make a wish and release it into the river and your wish will come true (at least if you believe so!).
One of the popular dish in Hoi An — banh trang thit nuong.
And dessert — tau hu.
Hen xuc banh trang was my fav!!! It was much tastier than it looked I had to order two. It tasted even better with banh trang dap (at least to me). I would go back and eat it again anytime!
Last but not least is com ga, which stands for chicken rice. I had it at Com Ga Ba Buoi. This goes without saying the most popular dish in Hoi An. Whatever you do, don’t miss it! Me and my boyfriend had to come here twice this trip because we enjoyed the meal so much. Oh and don’t forget to try their unique shacha sauce too!
