Another weekend getaway! Wow, I know, that was quick, to think that we had just been to The Nam Hai. It’s always a pleasure to travel! This time we decided to stay at the breath-taking Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. I’ve heard this is the best place for honeymoon in the area for its beauty and unique experience! However, on the day we checked in, I was terribly bitten by the mosquitoes. As if that wasn’t bad enough, there was no hot water so I had to shower with cold one. Their service was lacking of communication so we weren’t properly taken care of. Little things like these greatly affected my first impression there! The next morning we complained to the GM and he compensated us with a bottle of champaign, a free spa treatment, and a tour around the resort. Hence I was in different villas in the photos, yayyy!!!

The first one was Rock Villa, which, of course, was built on top of the rocks with the view to the ocean. If you paid close attention you’d notice a small staircase leading to an isolated area — that was for meditation! Pretty cool huh! Well I’ve heard guests came there to drink beer instead. LOL. Now the second one was Hill-Top Residence, a combination of 3 villas, high up on the hill, newly built for families traveling together, and especially overlooking the whole area. We stayed at Beach-Front villa, which will be in my next post along with more interesting facts about the place!

If you’ve read my blog before, you’d know that I’d been to Six Senses Con Dao last year. If you’re looking for privacy and more exclusive experience, a quiet place for two, Con Dao would be the one. But if you’re planning for a nice family holiday in a big place with a big view, then this suits right into your quest!

So what do you think about this resort? Would you come here for holiday? Me, I would definitely come back for more!
